Jamie Shield attracts attention of US star Timbaland

OW and Doncaster based music producer, Jamie Shiled (S 03 - 06) has been working with big names in the music industry after attracting the attention of US star Timbaland.

Jamie’s music career was catapulted when rapper Timbaland noticed his work on Instagram.

After the two shared a few direct messages the musician called him in the middle of the night.

Jamie said: “He told me that he liked what I was doing and asked me some technical questions.

"Next thing I knew I was flying out to LA to sit in music sessions with him and making all sorts of connections in the music world.”
