We are thrilled to tell you that, on Tuesday 30th November, Dr Jonathan Leach (Mt 73-78) was invited to Windsor Castle to receive his OBE for services to general practice.
It is wonderful to see Jonathan receive the recognition he deserves for his work as the Medical Director for COVID-19 Vaccination. His work has encompassed planning and advising on clinical aspects of the delivery of the vaccination roll-out, as well as working clinically to vaccinate patients in care homes and GP surgeries.
'It was an amazing day and I remain humbled and still stunned that this has happened to me. The Princess Royal kindly did the investiture in one of the large state rooms,' Jonathan told us.
We are so proud, and I'm sure I speak for everyone here when I say we are lucky to have someone like Jonathan within our community.
